The Old Postal Road along the Nærøyfjord is a hidden gem not many travelers are aware of. The remnant of this former road goes from Styvi to Bleiklindi, through the lush greenery along the Nærøyfjord. This is where the postmen would carry mail during the winter when the fjord would freeze over. From Styvi the mail would be carried by boat, as the outer parts of the fjord would not be covered in ice. During this easy hike you follow the fjord as you cross waterfalls and rivers, and explore the fjord landscape on foot.

Both Styvi and Bleiklindi must be reached by boat.
